This is my first entry. Bear with me.

I have been an Owner-Operator for 30 years. Lots of things have changed, many have have not. And sometimes the more things change the more they change the more they stay the same. I would like to hear from other drivers, share some experience.

What was your best day trucking and what was your worst, and how did you get through it? Who are the best and worst shippers/receivers you come across? We all know places we swear we will never go back to. Wouldn't that be handy information to share?

What tools or equipment could you not do without? What software helps you run your business and gets you where you are going? What strategies do you use to deal with traffic, cranky customers, the weather and impossible schedules?

We all have opinions (imagine that!) and strategies on these topics and many more. Let's share some of the knowledge that makes our lives easier and more profitable.
